Rules for Sustainable Success
-
Wake up to our inner dynamics and our interdependence with all living things.
-
Serve selflessly, seeing our customers as ourselves.
-
Apprentice ourselves with dedication to great teachers and to life itself.
-
Ask ourselves: How can we serve, nurture and sustain the planet and its people in our business ventures?
-
Give thanks in our prayers for our successes – past, present and future.
-
Clone ourselves through teaching others.
-
Reinvent ourselves daily.
-
Forgive unconditionally the cause of past and present painful experiences.
-
Vote wisely with what we buy.

Guide to becoming Braver
-
You have to know what you want. A lot of people want to be happy but they haven't quite figured out what makes them happy.
-
I'm a huge believer in doing what you love. There is no substitute for waking up every morning and doing what you believe you are here on earth to do. Whatever happens, you'll be doing what you love all day long. And that's its own reward.
-
I thoroughly believe in working without a net. You can't just dip one toe in, you have to jump all the way in. The tightrope walker who works with a net is much less likely to get hurt if s/he falls. But s/he is also much more likely to fall.
-
Never believe anyone else's view. One person will tell you this idea will never go, and the next person will tell you it is an absolute go. You have to decide who you are going to agree with.

I have found a great new magazine, Motto. This magazine believes the "soft stuff," as it's sometimes derided, is as important as technology investment or financial structuring. When companies and individuals get it right, the power is remarkable. www.whatsyourmotto.com

"Compliments to you Pat, for your real ability to get at the heart of the matter. And I mean heart. In just a few sessions you have given me a new source to draw from as I move through my day, respond to demands and make choices at work and at home. I do appreciate your asking for an action and a follow up to show off the little triumphs of the day. Thank you for how you are and all you do."
