Pat Obuchowski: The Coach

A relationship between a coach and a client is "Designed" because it is customized to meet the exclusive needs of the client. It is an "Alliance" because both players are involved in making it work. Because of this "Designed Alliance", it is important you know who I am and what qualifies me to be a part of our coaching relationship on a professional level.

Leadership in Business. I am the CEO (Chief Empowerment Officer) of inVisionaria. I have my coaching certification through Coaches Training Insititute and I am an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

I serve as a Premier Coach with e-Women Network.com, the fastest growing women's networking organization in the nation.

I am the co-founder of InnovationLinx which is a company whose purpose is to bring creativity into organizational thinking.

I have been in business at several different levels for over 25 years. I served in several management and leadership positions with companies such as Visa U.S.A., Otis Spunkmeyer, and General Electric. I was the CEO and partner in a woman owned fulfillment company. I am a founding member of the Silicon Valley Institute of Innovation.

Leadership in Community. I have been actively involved in leadership positions in many community organizations. I served seven years on the Commission on the Status of Women in San Mateo County, and served as President of the Commission in 2000. I served on the Board for the Association of California Commissions on Women. I currently serve as a regional representative for the California Women's Agenda. I have served on several non-profit boards and am currently on the Board of Directors for HIP (Human Investment Project) Housing.

Facilitation, Workshops, and Teambuilding. I am currently leading several workshops I developed on life transitions and creating a business. I served as a coach for the Girls Middle School Entrepreneur program and have been a facilitator for an eight-week "Women's Financial Information Program" sponsored by AARP and the Soroptomists. I have also facilitated "An Income of Her Own", a workshop for high school girls that encourages their participation in business and in the entrepreneurial spirit.

I served on the board of consultants of BoardNet, a program of the Volunteer Center in San Mateo County. BoardNet's mission is to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofit boards of directors in San Mateo County through facilitation, consulting, and tailored workshops.

Education. I am a Certified Professional Co-Active coach and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. I have an MBA degree from Notre Dame de Namur University, a BA degree in Psychology/Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University, and an AA degree in Journalism from Wright College. I am a life long learner.

Professional Membership. I am an active member of the International Coaching Federation and serve on the Ethics and Standards Committee; Silicon Valley Coaches; Business Network International and eWomen Network.
